The driftwood sculpture has been stood back up finally. After it had been set back up I did an intense comb over to see what all damage had happen in the fall. There are several broken smaller decorative pieces but the large pieces that make up the majority of the structure are all fine. I trip the the hardware store for screws and another load of driftwood and it should be back to where it was before the crash. I took several pictures after we leveled it back up so check it out.
Welcome, or welcome back. It has been a bit of a gap since my last update so here's what all has gone down. First off, I successfully moved into the studio and started work just in time to stop. Between the two leaking toilets in our house and the removal of wallpaper I have been rather busy. Last week I started working on some of my own art again and it is slowly gaining momentum. I currently have a cardboard landscape of the Douglas County Courthouse halfway finished and a slew of paintings in varying stages of completion. The harmful is swallowed series is still going and I have a new addition to it already in the works.
Earlier this year there was a rather windy day that knocked over the driftwood sculpture that I had made for a company in Lawrence. I have some repairs that are going to have to happen along with the actual delivery. As soon as I get it fixed I plan on getting some pictures of it, also soon as things get finished I will get pictures up, so hang in there. Thanks again.
