So we've finished up the first actual art show/sale that I have ever had my own booth at. We did alright but there is still plenty of work leftover. I have finally updated my site to have a sale inventory page, everything on it is for sale at reduced prices. Just a heads up the pictures of the cardboard landscapes did not really turn out as awesome as the real deal. There are still some cards and tie dye left as well but all of that has been shipped off to be sold during the Holiday Farmers Market on Saturday December 8th. So if you are in need of some sweet Christmas art presents check out the Leftovers page and get some.
We are on day two of the Bizarre Bazaar sale. There is still a lot of art still for sale, the cardboard landscapes are not moving as fast we originally thought. So it is looking like there might be a online sale for what is leftover. However it is not to late to come down to the Art Center and check out what's going on.
So we took a big step today towards mainstreaming the Bighead Productions name. The first batch of business cards got here today and they're really awesome. Tiff went over the top on the design and they will be getting passed out whenever I get the chance. "Here's my card." Oh yeah that will work!
6 cardboard landscapes finished, 6 acrylic paintings done, hundreds of buttons down. I still need four more landscapes at least one more painting, more buttons and I am working on turning some of my sketches into cards. I see a massive Kinkos run in my future. So as for an update on my status of how close I am for this. I'm not close, at all, in the slightest. Looking like a couple nights of Amp fueled creating coming my way.
Went to my first Biz Baz meeting today, signed up to help with my committee "bake sale" manly I know. Also I was given a map of where I will be setting up. We are in the basement as soon as you get to the bottom of the stairs and turn to the left. Can't miss it, we're the ones with all the tie dye and cardboard. Come check it out and find some christmas presents, or just buy some awesome art for your digs.
Welcome to the first of the randomly spaced poorly written blogs that will try and keep the "masses" updated on what is currently happening with my art. Since the middle of October I have cranked up production preparing for my first Bizarre Bazaar Sale. I am currently working on several medium sized acrylic paintings and as many cardboard landscapes as I possibly can. Right now I am convinced that I do not have enough work finished. My daily critics have all given my paintings passing grades which is reassuring, However I could do with a stronger critique that would help me produce better work. I have uploaded some of the paintings on the acrylic page and will soon add some of the newer sketches I have finished. One of my more trusted associates will be helping me make this website better before Thanksgiving.
