"Most of my best work came when I was supposed to be taking notes." The people that dominate my sketchbooks and scrap paper usually are my take of the individuals surrounding me. It turns out that the best place to get brain food for my drawings are racetracks, farmers markets, and work.
These fine individuals are examples of people I have seen and things I have witnessed. Or in the case of the robots, flying sausage links and side show freaks, things that my brain ran across and got stuck on. I have managed to find a way to draw the action of stupid, it actually turned out to be rather easy which in turn could be a bad thing.
The pictures above are from my first attempt at The Sketchbook Project. I had to scan some of them because now that it is finished and the book has been sent off I will not get to see them again.
